KNOWLEDGE ELEMENTS REBRANDING

HISTORY:
PFM had created the original logo for Knowledge Elements, focusing on the technology aspect of the organization. As the years progressed, KE realized that their strength was their academic integrity and history. KE reconstructed PFM to help redraft the brand to look similar to their academic clients, while retaining some of the brand strengths of the current branding.

RESEARCH:
PFM began by looking at their core market base and their accompanying logo branding. Through that research it was determined that most institutions favored a shield logo and that more traditional serif fonts were employed.

BRANDING:
PFM created a new brand that appeared to have a strong academic history and reflected the branding of their clientele. The geometric shaped was flipped, keeping its integrity but adding new interest. In addition, the single color brand helped to add a more historical reputation.

BRAND STANDARDS:
PFM then build an extensive brand standards guideline, outlining the various uses and applications of the logo.

FINAL BRANDING:
The result was a dynamic new brand and graphic element system that added further strength and history to their offerings among academic institutions.
